Many of you remember when there were no cells or computers or at least nothing like today. So how do you succeed in today's digital world? I'm no expert but here's ideas.

Put down that flipping phone & drive! Ha ha. Seriously, many of us (and I'm guilty) resort to emails, texting, Facebook and other social media. Actually pick up the phone and talk to someone live more often. Even better visit each other in person. Whether networking for your career or for personal reasons, face-to-face is needed more often.

But get this?!? Look at how many times you are hanging out with your friends/family & EVERYONE is on their laptop or cell or whatever & not engaging, not talking, not fellowshipping, not have fun & enjoying the time together, why? Or watching a movie together but all of us are on the freaking technology instead of watching the movie, laughing with and talking to one another. Just my two cents worth.

Sell Yourself, Sell Goods, Sell Services, Sell Anything to Succeed in Life. The point is that we are all selling something every single day. You are selling yourself in some kind of way. If you're at a job interview then you're selling your skills, your experience, you education as a match for that opportunity.

Some of you sell goods for a living. Maybe on Ebay or a similar site, or you work for a retailer, or perhaps you own your own biz. Some of you sell services, for example if you're a tax preparer or accountant or plumber or financial advisor, either self-employed or you work for a service provider.

The bottom-line is you are selling yourself every day, whether you sell goods or services or both. So just remember that it's a numbers game. Today you might be in touch with 100 people to make 1 sale. Tomorrow you might only have to talk to 20 or 15 or 12 or 10 or 5, wow! Yesterday you only were able to reach out to ONE person but you made ONE sale. So keep on keeping on, long-term you win.
